He started playing the drums at 4 years old on his grand father’s pans ,soon after enrolled in Janos Palotasy music school in his hometown.. He continued his percussion studies with Prof. Gábor Siklósi at the Academy of Music Ferenc Liszt in Szeged and at the same time had various temporary jobs at the Szeged Philharmonic playing percussions and vibes, marimba.
Nowadays, regurarly give concerts at Hungarian Radio as session musician, solo concerts, live brodacastings with his bands.
Leader of his own bands called Richard Szaniszlo Trio and Quartet.
Member of VIBRATONE Quartet (Dezső Oláh’s band) Red Stones Quartet.
